• Each sport will have a Captain who will help select their team. All players chosen by the
Captain must be approved by the Legends Cup Challenge. The Captains for each sport will
be selected by
the Legends Cup Challenge.
• The eligibility requirements are as follows:
- The player must be in the Hall of Fame, a former Olympian, or have played in at least
one All-Star
Game or Pro Bowl in their respective sport.
- The player must be selected by the team Captain and approved by the Legends Cup
Challenge.
- The player must have a USGA handicap index of 9.0 or less. Handicaps will not be
used during
the Legends Cup Challenge.
- The player must be willing to adhere to all Legends Cup Challenge player
responsibilities.
• Each Captain may select 2 players who don't meet the above criteria. Those 2 players
however,
must be a veteran of their sport and have a 5 handicap or better. This will allow
Captains to field
their most competitive team, will still maintaining Legends of the game.


• The Legends Cup Challenge is an annual event that creates its own traditions, rivalries and
highlights that make it better and better each year for the players.
• The most reputable and greatest athletes of the four major sports will be competing in the
Legends Cup Challenge. The golf will not only be competitive, but the level of skill
displayed by these players will be the best celebrity golf in the world. The majority of the
athletes will besingle digit handicappers that thrive in this environment.
• The environment and competition that the Legends Cup Challenge creates keeps the
athletes
coming back every year. Athletes lobby to get on their respective sport's team
since the player
numbers are limited. The teams change each year as Captains seek to
improve their teams and
as generations of athletes change.
• Unlike other celebrity golf events in the Legends Cup Challenge each team has a 1 in 4
chance of
winning. This factor alone brings in the biggest names from the four major
sports.
• The best names and the best golfers from the four major sports want to play the Legends
Cup
Challenge. Every athlete who loves golf wants to be on the team that represents the
sport they
played as a professional. Past players have included the likes of Greg Maddux,
Mike Eruzione and
George Brett.
